Warm Tips on Health and Safety during the Summer Holidays
亲爱的国际学生们：
Dear International students,
The hot summer approaches as the COVID-19 prevention and control period continues.Besides studying at home, Renmin University of China hopes that your physical and mental health are receiving the same attention as well. We kindly remind you of the following:
01遵守中国的法律、法规及学校的规章制度，严格遵守学校和所在社区的防疫管理规定。
Students in China should strictly abide by the laws of the People’s Republic of China. Students should also obey the relevant epidemic-prevention management regulations set by the university and local communities.
02请同学们尽量避免城市间流动和聚集，如计划离开目前居住地前往其他国家或城市，务必提前告知联络老师。
Please refrain from travelling within the city and participating in group activities. Students who have made plans to leave their current place of residence and travel out of the city or country should inform the teacher in-charge in advance.
03注意财产安全，谨防电信诈骗，不要轻易相信陌生人和未经核实的信息。如遭遇诈骗，尽快拨打110或者到最近的公安机关报案。
Safeguard your finances and beware of telecom frauds. Do not believe in strangers or unverified information easily. In the event of a fraud，call 110 as soon as possible or report to the nearest public security bureau.
04严禁到江、河、湖泊、水库等非正规游泳场所游泳和到自然条件恶劣的地方游玩。
Swimming in places other than a designated swimming pool such as a river, lake or reservoir is strictly prohibited. Do not visit places with poor natural conditions.
05注意防火安全，禁止在校园内烧烤，禁止在宿舍内吸烟，禁止使用违禁电器。
Pay attention to fire safety. No barbecue on campus. Do not smoke in dormitory. The use of prohibited electrical appliances is not allowed.
06请同学们理解并配合学校的疫情防控工作。培养良好的生活习惯，不要大声喧闹，以免扰民和影响其他学生学习和生活。
We hope you understand the necessary measures taken by the University on time. Students are encouraged to develop good living habits, refrain from making too much noise so as to not disrupt the lives of other students and residents in the area.
07注意个人卫生，勤洗手；定期开窗通风，保持室内环境清洁和空气清新。
Pay attention to personal hygiene and wash your hands frequently. Besides opening the windows regularly for ventilation, remember to keep your room clean and the air fresh.
暑假期间请同学们严格遵守相关管理规定，做好自我防护，在保证安全的情况下进行各项活动，预祝大家度过一个愉快、安全的暑期。
During the summer holidays，students are requested to strictly abide by the relevant management regulations, do a good job of protecting themselves, and carry out various activities while prioritizing personal safety. We sincerely wish you have a nice and safe summer holiday.
