Dear International Students：
当前，新冠肺炎疫情防控工作在中国正处于最吃劲的关键阶段。随着多国出现疫情，世卫组织将新冠肺炎疫情全球风险级别由此前的“高”上调至“非常高”。
Currently, the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus (2019-nCov) in China is at a strenuous stage. With the outbreak of novel coronavirus across the world, WHO has adjusted the global risk of this epidemic situation from "high" to “very high.”
疫情爆发以来，同学们都积极支持中国政府的防控工作，配合理解学校的防疫规定和要求。学校对一直以来传递正能量并伸出援手的同学们表示感谢。
Since its outbreak in China, the Chinese government has taken the action in this epidemic prevention and control. It has gained support from people across the country including each of you. At the meantime, the university also published regulations and requirements on epidemic prevention and control, every international student like you supported us by seriously taking those regulations into consideration and action. We want to express our sincere appreciation to all of you who have continuously passed the positive energy to each other and helped out all the way through.
虽然你们此刻不在中国、不在北京，学校依然关注你们及家人的健康与安全，请时刻牢记以下两点：
Although you are not in China with us in Beijing at this moment, the university is thinking of you and your health and safety, please keep in mind the following two suggestions no matter where you are:
1、请在原地停留，不要跨区域流动，不给病毒趁虚而入的机会。
Please stay where you are right now and avoid inter-city transportation.
2、所有学生不经批准一律不许提前返京和返校，具体开学时间等待学校通知。不听劝阻私自返京和返校的，将受到学校的严肃纪律处理！
No student is allowed to return to Beijing and the RUC campus in advance. Please wait for the further notice on the restart of the 2020 spring semester. Those who insist on returning will be punished seriously according the regulations of Renmin University of China.
疫情当前，让我们团结一致共同打赢这场防疫之战！感谢同学们的理解和支持！
