II Keep the campus safety in mind.

1.Keep dormitory safety in mind.

Keep your dormitory clean and tidy. Ensure regular ventilation to promote air circulation and prevent diseases. Do not use high-power electrical appliances in the dormitory and avoid unauthorized wiring modifications. Do not store flammable materials on balconies and corridors. The use of open flames and smoking in the dormitory are strictly prohibited. Do not bring flammable or explosive items, including fireworks, into the dormitory. If any potential safety hazards are found in the dormitory, such as electrical appliance failures or damaged fire-fighting facilities, report them to the staff at Department of Student Dormitory Management in a timely manner. Turn off the electricity when going out.

2.Carefully keep dormitory key card.

Keep your dormitory key card safe. It is strictly forbidden to accommodate others overnight or stay in someone else's dormitory. If your dormitory key card was lost, inform the dormitory management staff at the front desk immediately to prevent others from entering your dormitory and causing property losses.

3.Manage valuables and personal identification documents when going out.

Before leaving, make sure to lock all doors and windows. Avoid carrying large amounts of cash. Take proper care of your valuables, such as laptops, mobile phones, and jewelry, and never leave them unattended. Do not put a lot of cash in the dormitory, or lend your passport, student ID card or room key to others.

III Be aware of the travel safety.

    1. Appropriately arrange dormitory before leaving campus

Close the window and lock the door before leaving. Clean up the dormitory and take away garbage. Do not pile up flammable materials near the heating facilities. Take your bank card, passport, student ID card and other valuables belongings with you when leaving campus.

    2. Plan travel routes reasonably and avoid risks.

Plan your route carefully and wisely. Avoid areas with few people and poor communication, as well as crowded public places. Stay away from undeveloped or closed-off wilderness and those with safety risks. Inform your family, teachers and friends about your travel plans. It's better to travel with others, avoid going out alone or at night.

    3. Obey traffic rules during travel.

Please follow traffic rules, take the pedestrian walkways when crossing the street. Avoid using your phone or being distracted while crossing the street. Do not take unlicensed taxi or rent buses without operating qualifications. Drive with a valid license and do not drive vehicles after drinking alcohol. Fasten your seat belt when driving and wear a helmet when riding an electric bicycle. Take good care of your luggage and personal belongings, when taking public transportation.

    4. Pay attention to outdoor activity safety.

When participating in outdoor activities such as skiing and skating, always choose certified venues and wear appropriate protective gear. Follow the safety regulations and don't take risks to go to dangerous areas. Carefully participate in high-risk activities, including aerial, high-speed, diving. Set off fireworks in open and secure sites, away from crowded areas, buildings and flammable or explosive materials. Additionally, set off fireworks strictly in accordance with the instructions, and do not dismantle or modify fireworks.

When going outside in winter, avoid extreme weather such as low temperature, snowing and freezing. Keep warm and dress appropriately according to the weather changes. Outdoors, wear warm and windproof clothes like down jackets, cotton-padded coats, scarves, gloves and hats.
