“2013国际友人环昆明湖长走活动”将于2013年10月26日（星期六）在风景优美的颐和园昆明湖畔隆重举行。
本届长走活动以“健康长走 美丽北京”为主题，强调科学性和趣味性。长走不以竞技和速度为目的，提倡轻松愉快的健身。长走参与者在体育锻炼中融入大自然，享受人与自然和谐之美，愉悦身心。来吧，我们一起走！

一、长走方式：
1、按国际通用方式进行
2、全程距离：8公里
3、行进路线：文昌院—昆明湖东堤—耕织图—文昌院；
4、检录时间：13：00 ；开始时间14：00；活动于17：00结束
5、起点和终点：昆明湖东侧的文昌院
二、报名办法：
参加人员：在校留学生最多40人,先到先得
参加条件：身体健康者均可报名，未成年人需有监护人陪同
报名时间：2013年10月11日至10月12日
报名地点：留学生办公室
报 名 费：免费，学校组织统一车接车送
三、鼓励办法：
参加者凭沿途收集的标识在终点领取相应纪念品。
“2013 Walking around Kunming Lake for International Friends” is to be held at 14:00 on Saturday, October 26th at theKunming Lake of the Summer Palace.
As stated in the theme “Walk for Fitness and Healthiness, Explore the Beauty ofBeijing,” the event places equal emphasis on the scientific and recreationalaspects of walking, encouraging participants to consider walking as a pleasantphysical activity for all instead of a competition. The event invitesparticipants to walk into the greens and enjoy the harmony between human andnature. Come and join us now!
I. Event Details:
a) The activity shall be carried out in accordance with internationallyaccepted practice.
b) Course Distance: 8 kilometers
c) Course Route: Wenchangyuan (Wenchang Gallery) - East Bank of Kunming Lake –Gengzhitu - Wenchangyuan
d) Roll Call Time: 13:00; Starting Time: 14:00; Finishing Time: 17:00
e) Start & Finish: Wenchangge Gate Tower (on the east side of Kunming Lake)
II. Registration:
Eligible participants: maximum 40 international students.
Health Condition: Participants should be physically healthy. Participation fromthose with chronic diseases
(e.g., high blood pressure, cardiovascular or cerebrovascular diseases) shallbe declined. Under-aged participants should only be allowed entry whenaccompanied by their legal guardians.
Registration Time: October 11th to 12th, 2013 (Please note: given the limitedspaces, registration is on a first come first service basis)
Registration Place: international students office
Registration Fee: free (including theexpenses for shuttle bus and insurance)
III. Incentives:
All the participants will receive souvenirs by presenting the stamps collectedduring the walk.
