NOTICE | 关于购买保险的通知

Dear Fellow Students:

The Ministry of Education, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Public Security have jointly formulated The School Measures for the Recruitment and Training of the International Students, which was implemented on July 1st, 2017. According to the provisions of the measures, all international students must purchase ‘PingAn International Students Insurance’ during their school years, and those who have not purchased insurance will be disentitled from enrollment, struck from the university roll or be declined registration.

 All schools must implement the system of compulsory insurance for all international students, who are required to purchase insurance in accordance with relevant state regulations and university requirements. Those who have not purchased insurance are required to do so within a stipulated period of time. Upon expiry of such period, if the student still fails to purchase insurance, he or she shall, depending on his or her status at the material time, be disentitled from enrollment, struck from the university roll or be declined registration.

Article 40 of The School Measures for the Recruitment and Training of the International Students

Starting from this semester, all students who apply for a visa extension are required to bring their insurance invoice, those who do not show their invoice will not be able to extend their visa. Students who have not purchased their insurance must purchase by the end of the semester.

The International Students Office and the PingAn insurance company will organize an event for the students to purchase insurance on campus, the date and the location will be notified on the ISO WeChat page. If you miss the event, you can also purchase the insurance online, at the International Students Insurance homepage (www.lxbx.net). The online purchase method will be announced on the ISO WeChat page.
